If you checked out my post on instagram, you’ll know that this weeks tech tip is all about adding additional features to your device. This is done using the Apple designed app, Siri Shortcuts.

Siri Shortcuts is an amazingly flexible app that can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. You can simply download features that other people have made or you can geek out and create your own.

If you’re like me, you probably don’t have time to spend making your own. Whilst Apple includes many shortcuts inside the shortcuts app gallery, these can be limited to very basic functionality.

If you want to be able to download genuinely useful features such as the ability to download a YouTube video direct to your camera roll, or the ability to scroll a website simply by tilting your phone, then go ahead and check out https://shortcutsgallery.com

From this website simply tap on a shortcut that sounds useful or interesting to you and tap on install. You’ll get automatically redirected to the Siri Shortcuts app. Go ahead and scroll down and tap ‘Add untrusted shortcut’ and you’ll have access to this in your shortcut library immediately.

Untrusted shortcuts are not the same as Jail Breaking or modifying your phone. Apple designed the Shortcuts app to support them! Knowing that users would want to create their own shortcuts.

Let me know if you found this useful! 😁 also feel free to message me or leave a comment if you have questions 🙌🏻
