Apple and Jason Sudeikis win Best TV Actor Golden Globe for Ted Lasso for the second year in a row. The actor plays the titular character on the well-loved and highly popular show. And Apple TV+ continues to enjoy high consumer loyalty thanks to its focus on high quality, original content. Apple struck lightning in a bottle with Ted Lasso and its star. And this latest win continues what has been an epic run of awards nominations and wins for Apple TV+ programming.
Just yesterday Apple put out a blog post on its website outlining the success of its services sector. And although to the outside observer TV+ is a drop in the pond for Apple, the Cupertino firm really believes in the value of its offering. Rather than focusing on snapping up third party content and trying to compete with Netflix and co, Apple is focusing on quality in house productions. That strategy is paying off.
