I’m excited to announce a mini relaunch of AppleTLDR. But before we get to that, I want to start by saying a huge thank you. Thank you to everybody who has previously taken the time to read the content published here on AppleTLDR. Particularly those who have subscribed to the site. Your support really means a lot. But now is the time for a change, for the site to evolve and to better reflect my overall content strategy.
It became clear over time that it wasn’t sustainable for me to maintain the site on a daily basis while also holding down a full-time job. So many things happen on a daily basis in the world of Apple and it just wasn’t possible to stay on top of it as a one-person operation. Instead, I want to transform the site into a weekly newsletter that summarises the key stories of the week. I think there is so much more value in quality over quantity, in efficiency over convenience.
AppleTLDR was originally designed to break down the latest Apple News into a concise and easy-to-understand format. That continues to be the goal of this site while providing unique insight based on a decade of experience as a former Apple Employee, long-term Apple user and fan.
If you haven’t already, please consider subscribing here on the site to access my weekly newsletter. The first issue publishes on 17/12/22. Alternatively you can subscribe over on YouTube for videos every Saturday covering the latest Apple news from the previous week. In the future, I plan to create unboxing videos, reviews (in both written and video format) and much more.
Comment down below if there is a particular type of content that you would like to see as part of the relaunch. You can also follow @AppleTLDR over on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. Or of course visit this very website to access my weekly newsletter for free.
You thinking of starting a Substack? Cause that’d be cool. Definitely something I’m using more and more. Cheers man!
